We have a right to know all of our risk factors for breast cancer

Many of you know I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002. I was immediately told I would probably not live long enough to see my then three year old daughter Gabrielle, now 9 grow up. The day after I learned I was pregnant with my son Christian who is now 5 years old. I have been determined ever since my diagnosis to make sure what has happened to me does not happen to another Mother. In 2004, I created Beautiful in Pink designed to embrace women with breast cancer and bring awareness to those not diagnosed with the message No one is too young or too old for breast cancer.

I was cancer free until March 2006 when I learned my cancer had metastasized to both lungs. I have been pretty stable until learning in January 2008 that my cancer has now gone to my brain. For those of you who know me personally know that I will and I am continuing to fight on. This new challenge has inspired me even more to fight not only for myself but for other women as well. It lists every single risk factor for breast cancer and the explanation behind it. I have been very vocal about my risk factors for breast cancer. Those of you who do not share my risk factors but still have breast cancer I have the greatest respect for you. However, I refuse to leave this world with one person not knowing that I was healthy before I took birth control pills, had an abortion and later took Depo Provera. I struggled with endometriosis, infertility and silent emotional pain over my abortion and now breast cancer. If you are like me speak up and save the life of another Mother. Make your Doctors put your complete medical history in your records. Trust me the medical industry already knows that breast cancer is a hormone driven disease and birthcontrol pills and abortion, including HRT is just fuel to the flame. There will be no CURE until we admit the cause and work toward prevention.

I continue to believe that life though unpredictable is beautiful and with the greatest love in my heart for Jesus Christ and his Passion on the Cross, I now share his thorns and they are Beautiful.

Please know every night before I go to bed I pray for every human life in the world. I would like to ask for your prayers. I am of the Catholic Faith and I would like to ask everyone if you will please pray to Karl of Austria who was Beatified by the Vatican for the intercession of a women who was cured of her cancer. I want what has happened to me to never happen to another young mother or anyone. No one should hear they won't see their child grow up.

I want a law passed to inform women of all the risk factors for breast cancer. I want the pharmaceutical companies who dispense their poison and the abortion industry to own up to what they have done to the destruction and devastation of women's lives. And I want medical personnel who do not wish to be involved in dispensing or aiding in these unethical practices to be protected for their right of conscience. Abortion and birthcontrol are not healthy for women, never have been never will be and those who think they are helping us with their poison and criminal tactics are just throwing us in the grave. Enough is enough.
